OMG... I think you're my twin... I'm 19 and never went to a party and got wasted and trashed... I don't think it's bad or weird or whatever you might think people think of you when you refuse to do that... I think that you're a very responsible girl and don't want any trouble... I'm just like you and think you're smart girl and shouldn't go and do that... Just stick with the way you are and spend time...

Wow... talk about peer presure! I know you hear that 'everyone' is going out to 'get wasted'. Haha, it isn't true. Lots of people just say those things to 'be cool' but I bet if you started saying, getting wasted is such a waste of time and money they would probably stop bragging. I mean, I think that eventually everyone will go out and have there nights, but if you don't want to or if you're not ready, you definatly don't have to. Nobody is forcing you to do anything you don't want to... and to tell you the truth, it isn't all that great, sometimes it's just funny to go out with your friends, drink nothing and watch them make fools of themselves. You could even offer to the the dd for a night and you would still get to enjoy the fun of the party without the costly alcohol. Remember always have a ride home if you do drink and don't stress it...

If thats whimpy, then keep on those goody two shoes, Why is it that young people care so much what there peers think of them? When I was your age I used to care what people said about me and It caused me to say and do alot of things that I wish I could change., now I'm older and more mature and more life experiances with me and I would like you to ponder on this awhile:
The only people that you should care what they think of you is the people who love and respect you. Does any of these other people know you, pay your bills, buy your food, or your cloths, then they don't have the right to condem you or say anything about you its none of there business.

I'm 23 out of college and on my own, and I have never gotten wasted. You are being really smart. Don't be pulled into doing something stupid. Your not a goody too shoes, you are just being smart. Don't listen to your friends. You are having way more fun, and you don't have the nasty side effects of getting drunk.

No, it's not bad. I went to parties as a teen and never got drunk. I didn't start drinking until I was 20, and that was because I wanted to. I know lots of people who don't drink. It's called keeping your body and skin healthy.

NO, it's NOT bad at all.........what do your friends have to show for their getting wasted?? Hangovers and puke all over a prom dress?? Yeah.......Jenn, if you feel that you have to get hammered to be respected by your friends, take it from an older guy and GET SOME NEW FRIENDS, FRIENDS THAT FIT THE DEFINITION OF "FRIENDSHIP"........and you'll be better off.....and if they think you're wimpy or a goody two shoes, then it's DEFINATELY time to find new friends.......Trust me on this one!!!

Your fine, if you want to stay clean that is your choice and if your friends are really your friends they will respect that. Who cares what anyone else thinks, there is no reason to rush things. Trust me you will be grown up and wishing this was the only thing you had to deal with soon enough.

I think you should be yourself and not worry what your so called friends say. However if you do decide to give in to peer pressure, make sure you go get tested for HIV after you get wasted since guys love to take advantage of wasted girls.

Getting wasted and puking all over the place is not all it's cracked up to be!
If your friends think this is fun, you need new friends.
