i have medication for my sun spots i havent taken, it is in 4 pills and i was wondering if it would be safe to still take them? any questions, im not sure the name of the prescription. it says mp500 on the pill if that helps

It should say on the medicine, if not call the pharamcy where you got it. Medicines change chemically over time, however small changes are not that serious.

The correct question should be:"Is there any point in taking only 4 pills prescribed for sunspots?" The answer is :"no." It is a waste of time just flush them...or get the script refilled and take them like you're supposed too...one script will not even do it. A topical is easier on your kidneys anyway...that and sunscreen daily..if this is a cancer issue; well that brings up an entire host of other issues...

Prescribed Meds. do expire it should tell you on the bottles there in..if it doesn't I would check with your pharmacist before taking them. So meds. get more potient as they age and you could overdose or they lose there potiency. So be safe then sorry and check it out with your pharmacist!!! smiles.

Yes, they can. There should be an expiration date on the bottle; if not, call your pharmacist and find out.

yes it can degrade depending on conditions it was exposed to. call the pharmacy and have a chat
