One really can't explain what it feels like to be close to God... but one can use the analogy of what it's like to come close to a friend... The more time you spend with the God, the more you get to know His personality and His character.. and the more you realize just how much He loves you and cares for you. I love God because He's the only person who I can count on. He never throws angry words at me, or hurts my feelings. He has taken things from me, but in the end He teaches me that those things were things that could potentially harm me in the end. God, though there are times I forget about him, never forgets about me... I absolutely love walking with Him, and dancing with Him.. and ya know, He has a rather bemusing sense of humour. I love when God laughs with and at me... Words really can't do any justice to what a relationship with God is like.... It's that feeling that I love... the feeling of being loved unconditionally

Fortunately, I have some experience that let me tell you that is like an unexplained feeling for the reason that it is a 'nice' soft' 'great' feeling combination that I was not able to feel or experience for any other reason. I can say that such happiness felt I was closed to God was a feeling similar to when I had each of my children. But, when I woke up I could not -or want to- tell! You want to feel it to be an endless experience, or feeling.

Just like everything, everyone has their own opinion. If you have been close to God, you will know. It's an experience that is hard to put into words, but you will know. Everything, just feels at peace and you are ready to move forward. Best of luck to you in your search

It is totally awesome. He's a Perfect Father. Loving, caring, protective, comforting, forgiving, never harsh, always available, gentle in discipline and He always listens. He brings peace, harmony and balance into my life. His joy and happiness are like no other. He is my hope and I am His child. I'm so honored that he chose me and that He sacrificed His only son Jesus so I could have access to Him regardless of my sin. He keeps all of His promises and would never harm you. He has my best interest in mind at all times.

My God is an Awesome God....

When all you know of God moves from your head to your heart and you have this feeling of awareness. That is when you know you're on a spiritual path. It is not something that can be explained in words very well, but needs to be experienced.

Peaceful, warm, protected, optimistic.

I still have my share of life's problems, but they don't seem so bad, because I know that as long as I continue to lean on God, He will see me through. Like a buffer.

It's the perfect love. Man's love is not perfect, but it is so comforting to know that I am loved, TRULY LOVED, unconditionally.

Throughout my life, I've been unfaithful to God, by turning away, but He has always been faithful.

I could write a book.

There are no words in the human vocabulary to explain the feeling... We can use awesome, peace, comfort, warmth, friendship, etc, etc..... It is something you have to experience for yourself and it is different for everyone because each of us are different and have our own reasons for seeking Our Father....

GOD bless you on this journey, it is one you will never regret.
