Ezekiel is a very nice name from the bible, but how will that look on a job resume or his wedding invitation.

When I was younger, I knew a boy named Ezekiel and everyone called him EZ. Do you want that name for your son?

It's nice, but I would consider making "Ezekiel" his middle name instead of first name. It's a little unusual, and people can shorten it to stuff like 'Zeke,' and other kids might tease him. It's true he shouldn't care what others think, but there's no reason to make it harder on him. I think James Ezekiel has a very nice ring to it. Good luck.:)

No, because he will either be teased over Ezekiel or nicknamed Zeke.

But James Ezekiel is okay.

i think it might sound a little better if it was James Ezekiel depending on the last name of the child. Also depending on what the baby looks like because sometimes i cannot match the way the name sounds with the way that the baby looks.

Yes. It has a nice sound to it. Very personalized, but biblical. Just be aware that as he grows up, friends will want to call him, Zeke. If you call him Ezekiel and train him to tell others to call him by his proper name he will maintain a very high degree of respect because of his name. Whoever thought of this name should be complimented!

I'm going to tell you the truth it's not a ugly name but that name is for a child who mother and father has been honest all their life. i'm not telling you that you can't name yur child that but you must ask god first because that name is in the bible. So if you name your child that you have to be very good. So it's up to you boo.

It's a fine name but do you like the name Zeke equally because that will probably be his nickname when he gets older.

I prefer names that are easier for the child to learn to write and to say. It is a pretty name though.
