You must have the faith of Jesus and keep His commandments (all ten of them, including the Sabbath).

Never heard of it.
But, my anwer would be that of the Church itself: the Apostolic Age was closed long ago....followed by the ante-and-post Nicene age of the Apostolic Fathers and then the Conciliar Age of the Undivided Church (i.e., prior to the Great Schism of 1054 A.D.)
In other words, there is no such thing as an "Apostle" anymore. That office was closed after the First Century. Only the original Twelve, plus Matthias, St. Paul, St. Barnabas, can rightly be called an "Apostle"

There is no modern day apostle. The Apostle Paul was the last apostle. He fulfilled the Word of God. Nothing can be added or take away. Colossians 1: 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; The qualification for any apostle is still the same. Acts 1: 22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. The apostle Paul was the last apostle that the Lord appeared to. He was called from a risen Lord. Acts 9: 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Apostles had the power to raise the dead. There are no apostles today except Satan's apostles. 2 Corinthians 11: 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

I was told from a pastor that if you have seen Jesus (such as Paul did on the road to Damascus) then you are an apostle. In NT times, those who were among the 12 disciples were called apostles, because they were with Jesus, and Paul was an apostle because he saw Christ on the road to Damascus.
Those who claim apostleship, say they saw Christ. I have no reason not to believe them, because anything is possible with God.

Be aware of the modern day apostles; for many of them come to you with the clothes of a lamb, but from inside they are fiend wolfs. They are injurious and lead many people astray. You will find them interesting in collecting the money before the prime interest which is to save the lost souls. When they speak fairly believe them not, when they act kindly, be careful and do not fall for their seduction. You should be able to recognize the true apostles from the false ones and be able to single them out.

From my understanding, an apostle had to visibly see the risen LORD so there are no present day apostles. There has been no record of any more being appointed after Paul.

Christians follow Christ & the Apostle's teachings. There were only 12 Apostles and there are no more. Today, all Christians are called to be Christ's "disciples".

There are no modern day apostles....when we are saved we are disciples of the Lord. The Lord gave His apostles special powers that we do not have....apostolic powers died with the 12.

I fully agree with Ken D, there are no "modern day apostles". Please read 2. Corinthians 11:13, there are false apostles promised for this last days. Beware of them. God bless you and your church.

Apostles still exist. In hebrew they are called a sh'liach (sent one). Chabad Lubavitch has a sh'liach in almost every city in the U.S.
