What do you think about this awkward experience?
im a high school senior. and about 5 or 6 weeks ago i approached this girl who i had this huge crush on. she was in one of my classes last year and one of my friends being stupid told her that i liked her. after being told this i was to nervous to talk to her the rest of the semester. she flirted with me though and she would look directly in my eyes and slowly turn away..so anyway a coulpe of weeks ago i approached her and started to talk to her. i finall asked her for her number, she lied and told me she had a bf. i then asked if she wanted to at least hang out, she said ill give you my number later. i said "when's later?", she said "like monday". keep in mind it was friday after school. she avoided me the following week. what do yall think i should do? i would also like to know IF she told her personal friends what do you think they would think about me and the whole situation. would they view me as a joke or what?Be honest, PLEASE

She's obviously not into you, and yes she has told her personal friends, high school girls do that. Move on....

I say just forget about her. I'm a senior girl as well, so I should know what's going on with the ones that play games like that. If she lied and told you she had a boyfriend, and then said she'd give her number to you later and avoided you, it means she does not want to give her your number (I'm sorry! Don't worry, I'm not one of those types of girls!) And she would talk about you to her friends if you were worthy of asking an opinion about... or if she wanted them to laugh... though you sound decent, so she COULD have asked about you. But anyone who avoids you after lying ... (seemingly 2 times) is not worth going out with... it seems she's running away and not treating you decently...

Dude you got played. Yes she and all her girlfriends got a nice laugh at your expense, big time.
Don't worry about it, it happens to the best of us.
The biggest problem with high school is you still think it is the world. There are so many finner girls out there you will wonder why you even wanted to waste time on that chick. So feel bad for a while but then get up off the mat. Just brush it off, and start over.

You just need to confront her. Be a man. You sound like a little boy. Stop getting your friend to do the dirty work. Confront her and she says no then you are in the same boat as before. Just confront her because if you hear she likes you then that is a good thing and maybe it wont be awkward if you go talk her. Have you ever thought that it is awkward because you give her food and have your friend say stuff to her?

She' is just being a high school girl. It's hard to tell how serious she is. But unless you know for a fact that she has a b/f, you should be OK, but if she doesn't she leaveher alone, she obviously just wants to play games.

ok so i can tell you really like this girl and really care what she thinks of you. but the thing is if shes not prepared to be honest with you what does that tell you about her? she shouldnt have lied about having a bf that wasnt fair and the fact that she avioded you after telling you that she would give you her number says that she wasnt worth it! unless she talks to you about it or approaches you about it again i wouldt care what she or her freinds think about you shes not worth it if shes going to lie to you!

She's playing mind games dude, don't let her lead you on man you're just looking for trouble. Plus she sounds like a drama queen and those girls don't date anyone that doesn't mistreat them. So if you're looking to play the nice guy forget it, if you want her, you better be a total jerk. She'll respond

She's messing with you. It's thoughtless and silly. Why be bothered with someone like that?
Ignore her...she'll do everything she can to get your attention. Not because she likes you, but because she's a control freak and still wants to know she can manipulate you.

She doesnt like you anymore. Or she is playing hard to get. If you dont like her, I think its time to move on. You knew she liked you and you waited too long and even avoided her. Now its her turn. If you like her persue it, otherwise move on
