when i go through a breakup or need to turn someone down, i would tell them that. But why do guys do this "ignoring you" thing as a way of breaking up? isn't telling someone directly easier?why does he wanna be a coward?

Maybe he doesn't want to deal with the compulsory drama that normally accompanies a break up...the attitudes, the anger and shouting, or at the very least the questions. He's gone and you seem to be well aware of it, so why torture yourself? Just move on and if you happen to see him on the street and your eyes meet, you can smile and just keep walking...life's too short to worry about what other people's motives are!

They don't know what to say and they don't want to see the tears. I guess he might think you might plead your case of why you should stay together...so it is easier to just ignore the phone and ignore you. What can you say...it is immature...but a lot of guys do it.

don't worry i've had that happened to me twice. i've warned my current bf if he does that i'll hunt himdown and kill him, lol but forget ur bf, he's a jerk. don't waste ur time on waiting around for him. i knw u'll want a clear answer of ur situation, u'll be lucky if u get one
