If a girl liked a guy, would she tell her dad and/or mom? ...or both? ...or do they just keep it to themselves most of the time?

I think that it really depends on the person and their relationships with their parents. One person may not tell their father a lot but will tell their mother and it could be opposite for someone else. I myself have a very close relationship with my father and tell him almost everything because I feel it is good to let him in on whats going on in my life. He doesnt always agree with my choices on dating and who im with but if I dont tell him sooner or later he will find out anyways so I think it is better to just be open about it from the start. Not to mention if my dad doesnt like someone Im with there is normally a good reason for it not just that he doesnt like that person so sometimes its really helpful to let both of your parents in on whats going on. So again everyone is different and has a different relationship with their parents so I think it really just depends on the person.

Yes, they should talk to thier parents. Who better to give you advise than two people who are in a relationship, know what its like to be giddy in love. Don't kid yourself....dear ole dad, knows a thing or two about being a "Guy", he used to be a dude.
Your mom and dad may not say it, but they probably have gone through a lot of what you are experiencing now.

Be there for her. you do no longer ought to take complete value. Be her help. She isn't pleased with it. She purely says she is by technique of the fact she is one million. afraid to open up and a couple of. she does not prefer to look susceptible. surely, purely love her and make her sense good. And if she ever talks to you approximately it, permit her understand she has a better destiny to return for her and particularly permit her know it particularly is going to all be ok. help her have wish and have wish along with her! confident it particularly is a terrible concern, yet regrettably you are able to no longer do lots in this occasion. do no longer deliver it up lots. You be her escape from all of it!

It depends on the level of trust and communication she has with either of her parents!

My girls, I have two (17 and 16) tell either mom or me about all their concerns, doubts and triumphs in their relationships.

my dad is pretty easy going. I can talk to him about anything. He's pretty flexible about things and would tell me exactly what he thought.
