Tricky question. No we didn't choose. But isn't it beautiful that we are born as men and women who complete each other and then a new offspring is born. A new life is born.

I feel that when a fetus is created, if we are between lives, that we can choose whether or not to be born into that situation. So yes, I feel that I chose to be a woman born to my parents.
