It's not wrong that you like him, just make sure you clear it with your friend before you make your move. If you don't, i think it's safe to assume you'll be off her Christmas card list!

No! It's not!! Don't b silly! As long as u aren't the reason they broke up, we can't help who we become interested in!
I set my best m8 up with my 1st boyfriend, they now have a beutiful 9yr old girl, when that didn't work she went for a while with my 2nd bloke (I didn't know about that 1), But then, when her husband tragically died (I'd introduced her to him, though I'd never been there), I introduced her to my 3rd boyf & they now have a beutiful little boy (err, 6months I think). & Yes, I am still friends with her.
So, as u'v already heard, tell your friend u like him & she'll probably give u her blessing (or tell you the 1001 reasons y NOT to go there!! (cos of how horrid he is)).
Oh yes, & my 2nd Boyf is now married to 1 of my other friends!

I don't think it's wrong at all. If you really like him, then let your friend know of your feelings and take it from there. She might not be overly happy, but they aren't together anymore and there must be a reason as to why this is. If she's a true friend she shouldn't let this come between you.

depends what their break-up was like, and if she still likes him! don't jump straight in obviously, but if that relationship is completely over, then there's no problem at all.
you need to be careful when you suss your mate out tho...

good luck with it

It's morally dodgy to do something like that as well as being insensitive to your friend's feelings and not very smart.
