I've noticed you can now get reduced salt soy sauce. Does that mean regular soy sauce is too salty and therefore bad for you? I often cook fish in soy sauce, is that just like adding loads of salt?

There is a lot of sodium in soy sauce and sodium is not good for you. Sodium can cause high blodd pressure among other things. A lot of people have to be on low sodium diets. That's why many brands now offer a low sodium version.

Because soy sauce is so loaded with salt they came up with a lower salt version. Too much salt in your diet isn't good for you but you cannot live without salt in your diet in moderation of course.

Soy sauce is loaded with salt, which is why they came up with the low-sodium version. They also make one that's wheat-free for celiacs.
