Well i know that very well, all my life has been treated to heal it. So here is the solution:
*Warm showers with neutral soap.
*Betametasone cream in the most irritated areas.(diprosone/shering plough)
*Caliderm cream in the rest of the body.
*If you feel anxious, Atarax or Benadryl pills.
*To mostuirize the skin all days, alloe extract, that you will find in the naturist stores.

All this is called atopic dermatitis, caused by an allergy.
All these are suggestions but please go with a dermatologist and allegorist.

My neice had a very severe case of excema..it's very hard to get rid of; here are some suggestions:
Over the counter, get some hydro-cortizone cream (Cortaid or generic) the best time to use it is after a shower when your skin is damp, (I was told it helps trap in the moisture), and use it a few other times a day also.
OR, you can see a doctor & they will prescibe a stronger ointment for you to use.
Hope this helps some!

Try Aquaphor, it's made by Eucerin. This stuff is great for TONS of things!
You can buy it in your local store by the lotions, but it isn't a lotion. It's a healing ointment!

my friend had bad eczema and she mentioned she was trying ALOE the plant (not manufactured creams)...rubbing the moisture from the plant straight onto her skin.
Also she's better since reducing dairy intake.
