How am I going to track down the culprit?

the thieving gits ! tell everyone its ok ,say i don`t mind who stole my muller rice , it was 6 days out of date anyway and would probably have gave u diahorrea ! heehee , now watch all their faces see if u can spot the culprit !

Put a notice on the fridge door saying that there was a little personal sort of "deposit" in this rice and there will be a lot more "deposits" in all your food from now on. It was the same colour and consistency as Muller rice and that I hope they did not spit, but that they swallowed.

Ask all your house mates who ate it?
Ask them if they like muller rice. If they say yes, they may be the quilty ones. If they don't like muller rice then you can rule them out of your enquiries.

Go through the bins. Sniff your housemates' rooms (on second thoughts maybe not). Or steal someone else's youghurt to make it quits.

You could ask everyone that was in the vicinity of the kitchen since you last saw it in there. If they all say that they didn't eat it, then you must buy another.
