My mom is getting married this spring, and has asked me to be her MOH. I'd like to throw her a bridal shower, but she and her future husband already have all the "stuff" they need. Any suggestions?

Maybe rather than a stuff type shower have a day out at a spa or have a day of girl pampering do it yourself with products etc.
Or take her and friends to her fave restaurant and just enjoy the time together. Or go see a play and have lunch/dinner pot luck type at one of her friend's house (the play you and her attend) and then the potluck w/ her friends could be a surprise!

Showers are NOT given for second weddings.
It is also improper for a family member to host the shower.
I also CANNOT BELIEVE PEOPLE THINK IT IS OK TO HAVE A MONEY SHOWER OR A GIFT CARD SHOWER. That is a tremendously rude idea!!!
People who already have all the things they need are also not supposed to have a shower, even if it were a first marriage. Showers are for couples who need HELP getting their households together. There is no need to "shower someone with gifts" when they have everything.
If you want to do something nice for her that doesn't involve a rude request for gifts, throw her some OTHER sort of party like a "bridal tea" (meaning no gifts) or a spa outing for you, mom, and a few close friends (obviously, if YOU are hosting, YOU pick up the tab regardless of what sort of party you plan. I only mention the obvious because it seems certain people need to learn obvious, basic etiquette).

maybe you could give a shower Where you all go and Do something together, rather than the sit down and open presents kind. Like, everyone go to a nice resteraunt, or have a henna artist come and do body art, or all go skydiving, or some Activity, rather than focussing on the gifts. You could ask the attendees to write a story about a good memory they have of your mom. that could be the gift.

Get a thermostatic mixer bathe. your combi will grant the water stress at mains stress. you do not desire a 'capability bathe' as you have already got solid stress / pass. electric powered showers are in no way as solid as a mixer bathe run of a combi,and are much less solid. i'm a plumber who installs 10+ showers each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

I'd invite her closest friends and family and just have a little get together. I saw this idea on Racheal Ray the other day, I don't remember what she called it, but she had all her girlfriends over, and had them each write 5 things they loved and/or appreciated about her, and she did the same. So maybe you could do something like that. It's a little more meaningful than the traditional giving of gifts...

If they like resorts, for example, you could send invitations with a beach on the front and make it a donation type (greenback) shower. All of the money pays for the get-a-way.
If you are comfortable with it, you could have an adult ladies party. They are always fun and it might be some things they don't already have.

Yes you can give her a bridal shower and put in the invitation no gifts please----Have wishing well at the shower. They are very popular now.I had a money tree at my second shower.The tree can also have gift cards pinned on them, mine did.Ask the couple and get their feed back.......

I agree with Katie, about money towards something she would like and/ or LB. Maybe you can use the money for her to get pampered at a spa?
They're both really good ideas. It all depends what YOU think your mom would enjoy the most.

Maybe you could all go to the spa instead? And each of you throw in some money for her to be pampered. Follow up with desserts and drinks somewhere.
