There's not much you can do except stay rested, keep your fluids up and don't strain yourself. Try taking a bath- it doesn't actually heal you in any way, but it feels like such a relief.

I think adding a teaspoon of honey and some lemon juice to hot water is nice and soothing for a cold also taking some tablets like paracetamol, the drink especially works and hurries the cold along!

Sorry to hear that you're sick, chicken noodle soup with plenty of veggies, (not that campbell's crap), hot teas with lemon and honey, avoid dairy products as much as possible, and also, Vick's vapor rub on your chest just to make your respiratory system feel better.

I usually beat my head into the wall till I pass out. It helps me forget all about the cold. It works great! You should try it.

I had a friend that would drink Herbal tea with Jack Daniels when he had a cold. It seemed like he felt better.

Once you get rid of it wash your hands often and gargle once a day with a mouthwash. Kill those germs before they get you next time.
