He does his hair the same way as my ex would. he wears glasses like my ex. he has teeth like my ex. but my ex lives in texas, but this is my ex from when i was 17 and thats a few years ago. and our relationship ended because we were w.w.f. on each other . and i placed him in the hospital because i'm not one of those girl if you hit me i'll hit you back and especially if a man placed his hands on my i'm going down with a fight or a knife. but i know this guy that i like at work isnt like that ( so far )... its just hard because i cant tell him he looks just like my ex... and i wanna get to know him but i'm scared.. what should i do?

This reminded me of something I went through. I had this boss who was SUCH a jerk, he was abusive, mean, cruel, a real scumbag. I left that job and went to interview at another job. The manager there interviewed me, he looked JUST like my old boss, and had a voice just like him. It was eerie! I really wanted the job but was terrified he would be just like the old one.
I went to work there and eventually realized the new boss was nothing at all like the old one, just had coincidental similarities. He was pleasant and sweet, I loved working with him. You never know someone until you get to know them.

If he resembles your ex so much it is scaring you find someone else to be interested in. Maybe you have not completely gotten over the past that's why he resembles your ex. If he is truly a nice guy and you can look past his looks give it a shot if not find someone that will not bring back past bad memories.

I think that if u like this guy and u trust him than try and relax. You can't live in fear, just because one guy didn't work out doesn't mean he will turn up the same way so don't let your past keep u from living in the present.

I think it's ok to get to know him. I don't think that you should even mention that he looks like your ex, because no one likes to be compared and he will also wonder if you are interested in him because of the other person. You should keep you past in your past because it doesn't concern the new person.

well i think you just answer that your self if he remind you or your ex well that's an instinct don't go with him women tend to fall for the same time of guy and then end up hurt so hunny do your self a favor don't go with him there's a lot of guys out there
