Talk with her. You need to get counseling for anger management. If she is willing to stay with you then let her know whats going on, she may need to join you at some point. If not, you still need to get counseling for yourself and for any future relationships.

Davin, well, you have got to respond in a manner that equates to the "physical confrontation". I'm sorry but if you hit her you should (a) apologize to her; (b) terminate the relationship; and (c) speak to a counsellor about your actions.
I'm not saying that you were the only one at fault, but your actions are at fault and you must be accountable for your them. Her actions may be at fault as well but you can not do anything about them... you can only act maturely and responsibly regarding your own actions!
Apologizing to her shows that you know you were in the wrong.
Terminating your relationship, I'm sorry to say, is intended to never let such an event occur again. I have too often heard that these physical interactions escalate with time, rather than diminish. It's as if each event tests the new boundaries for people who have behaved in such a way and the boundaries are, thus, pushed. This is a horrible end result but it's the only way to prevent such an incident between yourself and her again. If you truly do care about her, isn't this the only course of action you can take to truly protect her?
Speak with a counselor... more than once... figure out what made you so mad and work to resolve it. Again, you can only control your actions and this is one way that definitely helps to come into possession of such control!

You have made a grievous mistake... guess what, we all make them! Anyone who tells you that they don't is very likely making a grievous mistake of outright lying and personal ignorance. Now comes the hard part... doing what's right to make sure it never happens again! Do this and you have distinguished yourself amongst all us regular mistake-makers!

If you hit her, and she has the "I don't take no ****" mentality, you're most likely going to have to do something that shows her that what you did will absolutely never happen again - if you really want her back, you're going to have to do something drastic like dropping $500 on flowers and completely covering her house with them when she comes home. But hitting a girl is probably the worst thing you could do, so I'd just throw myself off of a bridge.

Ouch. Anger management and a serious apology are the only options you have here. If you got rough with her, apologize and let her know that you are sorry (only if you really are), and let her know you are going to anger management training starting immediately because you never want to do that again.

Otherwise, you may want to familiarize yourself with prison food because this is a very serious possibility for you.

first of all, you must apologize to your girl and with sincerity, promise that it wont happen again ever..you can be forgiven for it because you are loved..but make sure it wont be a habit. if ever theres a problem with the relationship, think twice before doing and saying something...and after the heart-to-heart talk, go out for a romantic dinner date...

Nothing. But you should go to therapy so you can learn to control your temper. Leave the girl alone and get some help, you probably have control issues.

Tell her you are sorry and that it is better off if you go your own ways...because you might really hurt her next time and you both deserve better than that.
