If you want to feel better about it, just realize this:
The Christians are actually celebrating an old Germanic festival... that's right, pagans. Just enjoy it for the irony. Jesus was not even born in December, as far as scholars have discovered.
I, on the other hand, also enjoy it because we so often neglect to think of ways to make our friends and family smile.

Why do people dressed up in their Sunday best go to Wal-Mart after church. I thought Sunday was a day of rest? But they make people work, so they can shop for their Sunday dinner. I would like to have Sunday to rest too. Organized Religion=Hypocrisy
