im not trying to bash anyones religion, but i wondered.the bible says if we look at someone and think sexual then we are going to hell; so we all are?and if we have sex without marriage or are gay or cheat, then we are gonna go to hell. how can anyone do this? besides, jesus was supposedly put into mary by god(god wasnt married to mary, so should god go to hell then?) and if we murder or help in murder, we are un-forgivable sinner.im a vegan, but most people eat meat and wear leather and such, so since these animals suffer and are terribly abused and then killed, wouldnt almost everyone be considered unforgivable? why would god be a person if there are so many other creatures on earth?there's estimated 50 billion galaxies out there, so why would this one be so special to have a 'god'? and who knows if there is other planets on the other side of the sun that we cant see?and evolution is a proven fact, so isnt that something? and if you get divorced, you go to hell even if unhappy.

You are much mistaken on many of your "if you do this then you go to hell" comments. Those who go do hell are those who do not have faith in Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. Christ is the answer to the sin problem. Those who go to hell are the ones who do not take hold of the answer. They try to solve their sin problem by some other means.

Thinking sexual thoughts or having sex out side of marriage is a sin, a sin is the transgression of the law, the law is the 10 commandments. Any time we break even one of them we are guilty of braking all of them. Most people break the 4th habitually, and flagrantly. They have been taught to observe the pagan Sunday as sacred. Homosexuality is an abomination unto God (Lev 18:2; 20:13, and whosoever comittith an abomination will not see the kingdom of heaven, Rev 21:27. The only 'unforgivable' sin there is, is when one refuses to hear and obey the voice of God, who speaks to us through His Holy Spirit/Ghost, until we can no longer hear His voice, at that time God gives us over to the one we prefer to hear. After that we no longer have even the smallest inclination to go to God, so there is no way that God can forgive us, If we do not ask forgiveness and remove sin from our lives through the inward dwelling of Jesus, then we are lost. You see, God is the God and Father of Jesus, Eph 1:17; 4:6.
As for there being so many galaxies and there being only one God, God made everything through His only Begotten Son (since before the creation, Rev 3:14; Ps 2:7), So why is sin to be found only on this world? Satan hates God, His Son, His commandments, His government, in fact satan hates us because we were made in the image, and likeness of God. That is why we were chosen by satan for his special attack against God. If our first parents had only trusted God, and remained loyal to Him, we would not have had any sin in this world.

im the one who asked this question ;-). lol, by the way i forgot to say, "i go to a christian church every sunday, i just dont think it makes sense". todd b: you were in huntington beach a couple weeks ago, werent you? you asked me a bunch of the questions you said on here and i kept saying im agnostic, so i didnt believe in that!(and you had that stupid ape costume guy and behind him it said: "evoltion: a complete lie".evolution is proven. anyways, if the bible is true, then why was it written 100 years after it supposedly happened? if it was such a wonderful thing, it seems like it would be recorded right away! here's somethig too: you know scientology? it is the belief that billions of years ago, 8 creatures came here in spaceships and burried themselfs in earths core. one day, they are gonna come out (the apocolypse) and eat us all for energy and take over the world, and turn earth into there planet. this was written by a science fiction writer (l. ron hubbard). this dosnt make sense right? well, its in my opinion the same with some other religions ;-). how do you know wearent just evolved animals over billions off years that just came into what we are today?and honestly, do you really think that something a guy that was starving, hasn't slept in days, and has a terrible life and was delusional; do you really think that something someone like that wrote should be what you base your life on?like i said, no offence to anyone ;-). here's what i think though: if you go through life, make mistakes like anyone, dont beat yourself up! if your not the perfect person, dont think its the end of the world.if you can just go through life and be a good person, then it is enough. as long as you dont murder and abuse animals/others, then you are ok. no one is perfect, and shouldnt be mad at themselfs 'cause they did something against a script a poor, old, starving, crazy person wrote. just be a good person.

That was alot of questions in one, but I will try to answer as best I can.
About Sex, lustful eyes, divorce. God knows we are sinner and will never be perfect. That is why he sent Jesus. That is why he is called Savior. To save us from sin and the Flesh. It doesnt mean we become perfect it means we have his help to try to live a life good and pure and go to heaven someday. Jesus is the secret ingredient.....he makes everything ok in an otherwise hopeless world.
I am aware of abuse on animals and I live responsibly. It is possible.
As to murder. It is a sin. Killing a cow or chicken for food is not a sin. These animals were put on earth for us. Now if you are in the Army and you have to kill people and you are fighting or in combate....I do not believe that is the same as killing in cold blood. Jesus is a mighty God and shall intervien on our behalf on judgement day and Grace and Mercy shall be used.
Without Jesus we are all on our way to Hell, its true. With him, we are saved.

You used the word "unforgivable:" Sins are forgivable is we accept the fotgiveness. We are all sinners, we all lust, we all think bad thohghts becuase we are stuck in our flesh until it dies, and we enter the Kingdom. Evolution is not a proven fact, that is why it is called the theory of evolution. You go to hell if you don't believe, and you knowingly sin, and dont repent. I think you need to read up more before you start making accusations about Chsirtianity.

Wow! That was a loaded question. Too much to respond to, but I'll try some of it. First...no you're not supposed to look at someone with lust. (and they aren't supposed to dress to look alluring). We're human and it's hard sometimes not to think about our physical passion, but as Christians we should try to avoid it. As a Christian, God is in your heart, and when you have pre-marital sex your using your God given body for your own selfishness. God won't bless your relationship if you do have sex before marriage.
As far as Mary carrying Christ, God didn't have sex with her, he chose her to be the one to carry His Son.
Third, any sin is forgivable. You just have to ask for forgiveness, and repent. You can't keep committing the same sin, since God knows what's in your heart.
And last, God is not a person...He is God. He is the beginning and the end. It's a very deep thought, but if you have faith and believe, and read scripture, it all makes sense.

you will go to hell if you don't ask forgiveness for the things you do.Mary was conceived by the holy spirit which is a spirit not by god.i don't think that Christians should kill as the bible says thou shalt not kill.there are things that are so hard to explain but in the end we will know all of the answers.

Religion is about social control. One of the best ways to control the ignorant masses is to thwart, rechannel, or supress the sexual impulse. Read George Orwell's 1984 for a good analogy as to how this can be useful outside of a religious context as well. Read Reich's work on character armoring. Sexual morality is mostly bunk and myth. Mutual consent is the only logical moral standard.
