It is the pollen & resin of the Cannabis Indica plant. The traditional way to gather the pollen is for men to coat there bodies with oil and walk through the marijuanna fields. The pollen from the plants sticks to the oil. They then scrape the oil off and press the residue into slabs squeezing out the excess oil. Hashish is traditionaly a product of the Mid-East. Mostly Lebanon & Afghanistan but has been made in many countries including Nepal.

It's a mixture of shredded corned beef w/ diced potatoes, onions and seasonings. You can find it in the canned goods section of just about any store. The best way to prepare it is well done.
