Take your cat to a new vet and get another opinion. Your cat could have some kind of internal parasite.
In the future, don't give your cat human pills unless a vet prescribes them.

First off, do not give him any pills you would take without asking your vet first! You could make things worse! Just call the vet and tell him the pills he gave you aren't working. If you're giving him milk, that's where the problem's coming from. Milk gives cats diarrhea. Canned food can do it too because it's richer than dry cat food. But one thing you have to do is make sure he's getting alot of water!!! You don't want him to get dehydrated. If that happens, then he could die. So, no milk, no canned food, and lots of water. Good luck and I hope he feels better soon!

have you change the cat food lately? cats have very sensitive tummy's, and a sudden change in food will do this all the time!! if not she may have something else wrong with her! did the vet. do any test or just give you the bills? they should test her first! has she has her shots? i think i am asking more questions then you! sorry, but all this stuff plays a factor on figureing what is causing it! if you can't figur it out, call the vet. she when to and tell him the pill didn't help! they can tell you what to do next!!!:)

I know in my case my kitty Osiris has had a problem with diarrhea since he was small. My vet told me it was some kind of parasite. I am sorry I cannot recall the name of it. Their were no worms in his stool so he checked for other organisms that are too small for the human eye to see. If he has any blood in his stool you need to take him back to the vet and get them to check for other organisms and parasites. They have antibiotics that can help the problem. If not you may need more than one round of meds. Sometimes they may need to run blood work to check for other issues. Keep a check on it and talk to your vet about other issues that your kitty could be dealing with. In my case my cat has a parasite that he contracted from his mother and still has a problem with it to this day. Good Luck!

Never give a cat human medicine,,ever unless prescribed by a vet.Like aspirin is toxic to cats.It sounds like your cat needs to be dewormed.Follow directions completely. You can buy it at the store,,buy the liquid type & mix with a small amount of food & follow up.Feed cat seperate while you do this.If your mom wants to kill the cat,,find another home for it before she can do that.

Chronic diarrhea is often linked to diet.

Read this. The vet who created this site had a cat with chronic diarrhea for two years, and she got him straightened out with proper diet. Then she created this web site to share what she'd learned about properly feeding a cat:

http://www.catinfo.org

I would also suggest that you get kitty checked by a vet in case there's something more than diet going on.

Obviously he has some problem. So ask the vet to give him the proper medication, perhaps he needs de-worming, also try giving him feline i/d of Hill's or Intestinal of Eucanuba or Royal Canin, or boiled chicken, but anyway special food, not the cat food the others eat.

Sounds weird but i had a cat with that problem my neighbor told me to give her mylanta (milk of magnesia) it worked! Some cats have sensitive stomach es it may be the food you give her changing it from wet to dry may help too not all cat food agrees with every cat

He may have a GI tract infection, like my cat did. Or he could have worms. Either way take him to a vet - a different vet this time.

Never give an animal your medicine! They have a totally different physiological makeup than we do. That could potentially kill your cat!
