Traditionally, the DA Form 6 (Duty Roster) is to be made 30 days in advance. The author of the duty roster is suppose to create the DA-6 against approved leave requestss.
With your husband going on Terminal Leave, he is also given 10 business days to clear the installation, weekends and holidays not included. Traditional once a soldier receives clearing papers, they are removed from the duty roster and exempt from all additional duties. Your husband is within that clearing window and needs to consult his chain of command as soon as possible to avoid being disciplined for someone else's mistake.

In the Air Force they can make you do any duty up until your first day of terminal, as long as it doesn't interfere with your out-processing, but the Army could be different.

he can be put on any and all duties his commander sees fit until the day he signs out on leave, and just because he is on terminal leave does not mean that they can't call him back,, he is still in the military until the end of his contract, they can call him back at any time. stop listening to the barracks lawyers i hope your hubby is not an NCO trying to get out of work, that would just be disrespectful to all NCOs across the military.

they can put you on duty, but its usually a courtesy not too. if your husband is getting out on the 17th, he will usually start clearing the installation 10 business days before that date. i would have your husband remind his platoon sergeant about his dates. they often forget with everything else going on and they will ensure that your husband stays off the duty roster. good luck.

yes. They can call him off of leave to pull duty if they want to. Lot's of "regulations" like this start when someone decides to spread a rumor.
