I am thinking that it's broken. When I try to tap it, I think that I've fixed it; yet, somewhere along the lines of 5-8 minutes later, that buzzz sound starts up again! Help?

The buzzing sound indicates that the clock is too dry. Submerge it in a tub of warm green Jell-O for 5 to 10 minutes daily. In approximately one week, the buzzing should cease.

Hope this was helpful.

Hello! Sell this particular NOISE maker of an alarm clock at your VERY NEXT GARAGE SALE! You don't need it anymore. Get down to the nearest store and take a look at the selection of alarm clocks they have!

One thing you will want to do BEFORE buying, is asking if you can put some batteries (you may have to buy these in advance) in and test the sound.
My wife, once bought this cute little alarm clock, and it made the BIGGEST LOUD TICKING NOISE I have ever heard. But she sleeps more lightly than I do, so I did NOT have to worry about her replacing it.

Test the clock first, see if it is LOUD in ticking. Also, ask them if you take it home, and then at the end of a few days, it makes too much noise, you take it back to exchange or get a refund.

Do it, and you will sleep soundly and properly, even at 5:15am when you should be sleeping blissfully...

I hope that this question is a joke. If not, then I feel bad for you. It is your alarm going off. And the button is a snooze button that you press and it shuts alarm off for a few more minutes. To turn it off without going off again a few minutes later there is a switch that you move to the off position. Read the manual that came with the clock. There is probably nothing wrong with the clock. The buzzing is the sound the alarm makes. I have a clock radio w/ 2 setting one is a bizzing alarm and one is the radio. I set my alarm at 5:45 am and the radio comes on, not the buzzing
