I was in Colombia in 2000, I spent nearly 3 weeks travelling around the whole country. I actually travelled with a Belgian from Genk. We crossed the border by land from Equador and we were given our entry visa there and then. So I guess the same procedure works when you arrive by air. I hope that is enough to help you

US electorate want in basic terms a valid passport to be granted a sixty day visa upon arrival in Colombia. each so often you would be required to furnish evidence of return or ongoing trip (return airline value tag). An extension to the sixty days might nicely be gained with the help of application to Colombian Immigration merely before the expiration of the visa. you will could pay a departure tax once you circulate away, yet as yet no expenditures to go into the rustic. i'm uncertain approximately Colombia, yet many crucial and South American countries require your passport to be valid for a minimum of six months after the date of arrival.

or:
Embassy of Colombia in Paris, France - 22, Rue de L’elysee 75008 Paris, Telephone: 009 33 1 42654608 Fax: 009 33 1 42661860
