when I think of this I think of the game telephone when I was a kid.
Just wondering

It could mean that, sure.

God is not laughing at us. God has mercy on us.

How do I explain the different sects? Different interpretations.

Yes, while I think God made the definition clear, I think people are not generally equipped to comprehend a complex being like God, and therefore there are bound to be misunderstandings and confusions when paltry intelligences like our own attempt to discern the master intelligence that designed, created, and holds in his hand all that is seen and unseen.

God's power does make God himself clearer to those who are inside his grace. Those who are inside his grace are there because they have accepted salvation, and relentlessly seek to know God, understand his Word, and find and do his will on earth. These people are rare. And yet they do exist.

God does not laugh at people who want to understand Him. Some of the major aspects, and personality of God are love, justice and holiness (this is just a brief list). Each religious domination or sect (a sect is a very small denomination) has a doctrine or set of doctrine that they feel have been revealed to their founders. If you want more information about this consult "The Handbook of Denominations".

It is indeed possible that no denomination or sect has it exactly correct!!! This is most obvious, regarding theology about future events and when they are to occur. As general advice don't get too bogged down in complicated doctrine. Understand that God loves you--you are important. Follow these uncomplicated commandments:

Jesus gave us two commandments:

Love God.
Love your neighbor as yourself.

Remember the Bible says that God created Man. So God more than anyone else understands our limitations to comprehend Him.

As to demonstrations of God's power, there are many miracles recorded in the Bible. Miracles are recorded in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Miracles still occur today. The require faith. They are rare, and at most not common. They happen occasionally in Pentecostal churches even today.

REMEMBER THE BASICS:

1. Love God.
2. Love you neighbor as yourself.
3. Do all the good you can!

So many interpretations over one book ,couldnt that mean none of us interpretated it right?

I think a majority of people do not interpret it right, but not because of the bible itself because of the person who has interpreted it.

So if god is the supreme being and he is a form is he laughing at us right now.

I wouldn't say laughing so much as heart broken.

If one book is supposed to be the only true way to god, then how do you explain the different religious sects.

The various religious sects can be explained not because of God, but because of man. They are man's attempt to reach God. Imagine two different people standing in front of you and you say the exact same thing to both of them. You were articulate and clear in what you said, yet have you ever had those two people hear two different things that had nothing to do with what you said. People, when faced with things they don't like will often hear what they want to hear and fashion things in such a way that is acceptable to them. This is why you see so many religious sects.

And if god left us a book that is supposed to be our way home back to him. Dont you think he would make sure that the defintion was clear. And that we would know that it was clear by gods power.

The problem isn't that God didn't pave a clear path or make the definition understandable, the problem is that its not what people want to hear. God says do not lie, do not steal, do not have sex outside of marriage, etc. Yet man likes to do these things so he justifies his actions or he ignores the rules that have been given to him and makes up his own rules that better suit him and his needs.

God gave us the 10 commandments and says all I ask is you follow these 10 simple rules. If you don't follow them then you will have to be punished for it. The punishment will be eternity seperated from Him in hell. God knows that none of us have kept those commandments meaning we would all have to face judgement. Because of His love for us He decided to show mercy because He never intended us to go to hell yet because He is a good and just God He must therefore judge us for breaking His laws. No different than a human judge must judge us when we break man's law. If we expect this from a human then how could we not expect this from God. But because of His mercy He has provided a way for us to pay the fine for our crimes. and alls you have to do is accept the gift.

I am not trying to preach, just simply the message for understanding so you can see why it is a person believes in the bible and in God and Jesus. Do with the information what you want, but since you asked and your question seemed genuine I answered it hoping if nothing more than understanding.

Amazing. Here you have a book whose original texts have never been corroborated (or even seen) by any historical source, whose later additions were mandated by a government committee, and whose attributions are at best iffy (e.g., no really knows who wrote the "gospels.") And yet, not only do people swear to its veracity, they will actually condemn others for not seeing it exactly their way. If you wrote a book that said, "This is a true story because I the Lord said so," you would be rolling on the floor if people actually bought it. You would wonder how there could be so much gullibility.

So, in summary, we have an anthology of texts from who-knows whom, some of it thousands of years old, created by the scribblers of desert-dwelling primitive tribes, portraying a rather monstrous, murderous, jealous deity that "chose" their tribe. And this forms the basis for people "knowing" they are right. That is truly breathtaking arrogance.

some issues we purely can't wrap our recommendations around. Like residing a suitable existence as Jesus did. yet purely with the aid of fact we gained't understand the way the Bible has been surpassed on for years and nevertheless is proclaimed to be actual, does no longer mean it particularly is no longer actual with the aid of too lots time between then and now. The Bible does not contradict itself in any way. subsequently if there grew to become into something in it that wasn't actual, it may unavoidably incorporate a contradiction. it particularly is easily stunning, the Bible retains proving itself actual. confident, I reported prepare. Take Jesus to illustrate. there have been some 4 hundred years between the hot testomony and previous testomony and there have been over 3 hundred prophecies touching on Jesus. permit's placed this into perspective. placed a fence 2 sense severe around the state of texas and fill that entire section with one dollar money. interior the process those, paint one pink and throw it into the others. Now, blindfold a guy and deliver him strolling and while he alternatives one up it happens to be the pink coin. it particularly is the prospect of Jesus being the guy who fulfills each and each a style of prophecies. ok thats the photograph, once you're greater of a mathematical individual, right this is the ratio. one million:1000000000000000000000000000000000000 it could look loopy to us mere people....even though it retains exhibiting that it particularly is actual. How??? the only answer to that's that us people for confident could no longer do it, purely via God it remains actual.

After the flood, after the Earth was repopulated God himself, scattered man across the face of the earth and changed mans tongue (changed his speech, his languages). So now we have man not just on one continent area, we have man all over the world, speaking different languages. So naturally, people being strong headed, having minds of their own, read their Bibles and decided to start new religions across the earth. Because, different people believe differently. It's still the same God, we just worship, praise, pray to, differently. You can take a chapter out of the Bible, or verse, and 10 people are going to view that scripture different. It doesn't mean any one of them are wrong, it's just taken, viewed different, interpreted different.

if the interpretation would be clear, it would be very easy to know what is right and what is wrong and the essence of life would be gone. i really believe that this confusion is a part of that game that is being played on earth and I think that this is the masterplan of God. the message is: You have to use your brain to know what is right! if the books would be clear, we wouldnt use our brains and free will wouldnt mean much.

This assumes that God left the book.

There is considerable even overwhelming evidence that the book was engineered and left for us by the emperor Constantine and his associates. Himself a life long worshiper of the roman sun God.

With all of the current differing versions it makes one wonder how there can be a version of the truth.

Love and blessings Don

Well, Because they do it in their own volition, not according to the dictate of the Holy Spirit. To interpret the scripture, it need a spirit filled christian. But sometimes God way is different from our ways. He do as he pleases.

Imagine when you parents told you "Because I said so", it would take so much time to explain everything. God left us a manual / clue book so we could find out for ourselves, which makes the learning and the answers more meaningful
