So i went out with this girl for a year and four months and then we started to become friends with benefits because she said i broke her heart and she is just not ready for anything. Well its been seven months since then and i have been patient for the most part. I'm just very very confused on what to do.

You're confused?!

You broke this girl's heart. And now you're friends with benefits? I'd say you're getting a lot more out of your friendship with this woman than you deserve. I have a lot of respect for this woman. She's getting what she wants, and not putting herself in a position to let you hurt her again. Don't be surprised if one day she announces that the PwB is over, since she's fallen in love with a decent man who won't break her heart.

My advice is enjoy it while it lasts.

You've got it made, why make it more than it has to be. Keep doing what you are doing. When you become an item it will all stop. So go with the flow and stay just friends.

7 months is a very long time to wait. how prepared does she need to be to get back into the relationship again? i think you should just move on or if you feel that you can wait longer then wait.

Maybe it's because she's not ready for you.

It may be just those things girl say just so you won't have to hurt them. "i'm not ready for anything", meaning "not with you".
