Don't knock yourself out on this one, you haven't been in the relationship long enough for him to expect anything too big. What does he like to do? There are gift cards for almost everything and every store. If he likes music get him a gift card to a music store . . . I think you see where I'm going with this. A gift card shows that you know what he's interested in, but you are going to give him the freedom to get something he really wants or needs. This will save from an awkward situation of you buying him something he really doesn't want but he doesn't want to say anything to be nice. Then, if your relationship continues you will know him better and better and can start buying more specific and personal gifts.

To be honest, from a guys point of view, anything you get him will be perfect. I honestly don't understand why girls stress on what to get us for our birthdays, holidays, etc. Pretty much ANYTHING you get us,we will love. Just look at his personality,or things that interest him, like music. You will think of something, just don't think too hard about it. My girlfriend always comes up with the best ideas, and who says you have to buy him something, you can always make something..to celebrate your time together.

Buy him a card and take him to a nice restaurant.

All depends on how serious you are and what message you want to send. Another idea - Print out a handmade gift certificate that allow him to cash them in for certain favors - It makes things fun and unpredictable! Good LUck!

You've been dating him for two months and you don't know what to get him? do you guys not talk about what you like/don't like? Does he have a favorite cologne, movie, band - has he ever said he's wanted to try a restaurant ANYTHING?? Your problem should be not to worry about what he wants, but that after two months you don't know what he wants.

Depending on how serious you two have become in those 2 months... I would stick to a card and balloons or flowers.

2 months? Sheez he'll be happy with anything.

If you want to make it memorable ask him what he has been thinking of getting for himself.
Guys like stuff we want and need.
When we get what we want we are surprised pleased and it is memorable.
If you knew him longer I'd just say ask him and get it for him.
But not this soon.

Go to gifts.com and fill out the information for him about his personality. It's towards the bottom of the page. It gives great ideas. You don't necessarily have to get him whats there, but i gives good ideas.

Ask him what he would like to have, so you can get an idea on what to give him for his birthday!

A card and you take him out to dinner, maybe a movie and pay. It's not long enough for much else.
