I have a step-sister that seems like she wants to absorb the air I breathe. She calls me all day long if I answer the phone. If I introduce her to my friends, she want's to be included in all my plans. I never intrude on her like that. The killing part of it is that she has alot of family around, and my immediate family live in another state in which I live. If I do anything that doesn't include her she wants to know about it or be a part of. This is the step-sister at one time thought me and her man were meeting up behind her back. Why does she invade my space like this?

Sounds like she is lonely and likes your company. Just let her know sometimes that you are going out on your own. Be nice about it but you have to put your foot down or she will be in your private space forever. Good Luck.

She probably just treats you like an older sister. I have a younger sister that does this too, except for the "you're stealing my man" part. She probably just admires everything you do, or wants to join in on the fun. My sister hears that I want to go to a movie, and she joins. My sister hears I'm driving somewhere, and she immediately hops into the car. (She's 14) She probably also has immediate family, but does she have a brother or sister that she looks up to and who actually hangs out with her? Perhaps she is lonely, has figured out that you are a fun person to be around, and has been trying to be closer to you.

She's bored.She has made your life hers.You need to get busy about your own bussiness (alone) more often so that she will too eventually.Tell her you need to do paperwork,,go to the libary,,visit a boyfriend or go somewhere where you know she wont be interested in going.Although I think she may look up to you & like you &/or your life & may need guidance,,it is in her best interest as well to have space to pursue her own interests & develope herself to get out into the world & form a suitable & happy independent life for herself.

Maybe she just wants a sister and to hang out with you. Stop being so mean and hang out with your sister. if she ignored you, then you would be asking what is wrong with her. Hang out with her, she is trying to fit in and have a relationship.

BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T TRUST YOU THATS WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE TO ME, SO SHE'S TRYING TO BE EVERYEHERE YOU ARE SO SHE CAN KEEP CLOSE TABS ON YOU AND WHAT YOUR DOING AND WHO YOUR HANGING OUT WITH AND SO ON.
