Look with-in and you shall find all that you need .It is said that man alone has with him the full knowledge and love of God . So if one found them selves alone and without any knowledge of the books of evil men who twist Gods love and distorts the truth how would you find him .
Look only as far as your own soul and you will know your creators love .
The written words of man are to serve mans needs and not those of God .
It is insidious how the writings of man distort the true meaning of Gods Will for man and have lead him so far astray .
But I have been asked by God to tell you that you should only look in your own soul for him and there you will find him .

Stop reading the bible. It is more of a sorting tool than a serious religious document.
It will teach you nothing about the oneness.
The best book for understanding the idea of oneness is the course in miracles. Hands down nothing compares to it.
This may help too.. While studying the course I ask in a meditation for assistance in understanding the concept of oneness.
Here is the answer That came to me in the meditation.
"I am the ocean, you are the raindrops. We are the same. You raindrops, because of your similar size and location, see yourselves as separate, as units, as individuals. This perception of your selves has been your only reality since you were born in the clouds. You have no other perspective of your selves. As you fall through your short lives here, you see the ocean far below. On a certain level you understand that it and you are one and the same. You envy its magnificence. The thought comes,” I am water too, am I not also part of this magnificence?” Then you realize that you are but an insignificant raindrop. You can only look at that distant ocean in awe. The ocean with its timeless knowledge sees you quite differently. It sees you for what you really are. Its most precious children, bravely returning home to share the experience that ocean as a whole could never have experienced. The ocean has nothing but love for you. Because it understands that it is you, and that you are it. It knows only truth. Until the moment you reunite you can only speculate. The ocean's love for you is unconditional. It holds no foolish thought of punishing you for not falling quite right. It only waits with great patience for your homecoming.
The tiny collisions you had with the other drops on the way down, at the time seemed so significant. Often you feared that if you mingled with them too long you might get to close and in the process even lose your identity. All this because you understood your true identity not! You are ocean, you always were ocean, you always will be ocean. How you currently perceive yourself raindrop, snow flake, puddle, stream, River, or lake matters not. This is all illusion, only perception. You are ocean, you are spirit. You and I are one; we are the All That Is"
I hope that it is as helpful to you as it was to me.
If you think that I can be of any assistance just email.
Love and blessings Don

Another Bible text worth considering is 1st Timothy 2:5:"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all..."
Judaism, Christianity and Islam all declare that God is only One. There is no other god but God. But Judaism and Islam part company with Christianity's claim that Christ's manhood combined with his deity, yet without resulting in two Gods. Christianity is much maligned and misunderstood in saying Christ is the same God, not a different one. The Jehovah's Witnesses say the Father is God Almighty, and Jesus is the Mighty god (with a small 'g'). They have two gods. But Christianity, Judaism and Islam abhor polytheism.
However, the text above needs working out because it appears to show Jesus as quite separate and distinct from God. He is distinct, but not separate! No way can this be explained here, so I recommend you contact www.equip.org and ask for a print-out of the Christian Research Journal article "Loving the Trinity" by James R. White (volume 21, number 4). The author wrote the article while preparing to debate with a Oneness Pentecostal scholar. Oneness Pentecostalism has more in common with Jehvoah's Witnesses than they care to admit. So White's article deals with the arguments of both camps. Come to grips with what Jesus meant when he said, "I and the Father are one.." and you've cracked it.

If you have chosen to read the Bible, then you have chosen the right step. It will take you three months to read the Bible with full understanding. After you finish the Bible, then there is also the Bible to read another time. This time I think it will take two months. After you read the Bible three times. Then you will find out yourself what is best to read after the bible. You will find out the that the Bible is the only book to keep reading and reading to the rest of your Life. It is the true word of God. There is no other book available in the world that is written by God(The Holy Spirit) except the Bible. You will find that yourself. Enjoy your reading. It is the Greatest book to read.

KNOWING GOD by packer
just read the previous answers and must comment. Getting to know Jesus can be done like getting to know your neighbor. Listen to what He says, in other words read only the red letters in a red letter edition, through a coupla times. He speaks to the subject you inquire about.
My sister got stuck in that book of Miracles and 10 years latter she came to know Jesus. She said the book was demonic. Showed me some passages and although I did not read it all it does have some misleading information.
A good study of God and His oneness can be come by in a delightfull way. By yourself find a place, a quiet place in the woods. Lay down quietly and just watch and listen. Note how it all works together. Soon the animals will decide you are not a threat, and go about their business. Listen to yourself breath and listen to what your soul tells you. The emphasis being on intake not output. As it says in the book of Romans God is self evident in His creation. After a while (2 hrs) say a prayer quietly to yourself. then become quiet again and listen. In the prayer simply ask your question. It will be answered if you are open to the answer and listening. Books are cool but they are someones translation of God in their experience and He wants to know you and He wants you to know Him. Get away from all that is in your way and listen.
the book stranger in a strange land listed above is a great read but science fiction

Hi,
Why you don't try to read the Quran :
PS: Allah is one of the names of God
You will find :
chapter 112 :
1. Say (O Muhammad peace be upon him): "He is Allah, (the) One.[1]
2. "Allah-us-Samad [Allah the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)].
3. "He begets not, nor was He begotten.[2]
4. "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."
You will read in chapter 2 verse 255
"Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permit ? He know What (appear to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He will . His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feel No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory)."

study the Sermon on the Mount, and different writings approximately Jesus Christ. Then stay what Jesus Christ reported to do, very strictly. Then see if via doing this you don't get to a greater physically powerful point of information. Make a itemizing of all your ethical ethical faults. Then the main severe fault which you, settle directly to do away with that fault. Then see the type you sense approximately your self. you will sense wonderful approximately your self. Then look at your checklist of actual ethical flaws, and artwork on the subsequent one, and then the subsequent, and then the subsequent after that, and so on and so on. ethical perfection is a highway that finally leads to Jesus Christ. with the aid of fact Jesus Christ is the perfect occasion of ethical righteousness. save on with His occasion, via analyzing up on Him, and then do the comparable, and spot the type you sense. how are you going to sense??? the respond is bigger and larger and larger it particularly is the type you will sense. think of feeling like Jesus Christ even purely somewhat. Now it particularly is something to evaluate easily. and that's something it particularly is worth to pursue. God bless.
