You must learn what God requires of us. - "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." -- John 17:3.
That knowledge will cause you to have faith. -- John 3:16.
That faith must be a living faith, causing works of obedience. -- Hebrews 5:9; James 2:14-26.
After coming into a "saved" condition, one must endure to remain faithful, for "the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved." - Matthew 10:22; 24:13

Believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross for you. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. It did it all for you. it is a free gift. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Don't let people tell you that you have to anything but believe. That is religion. Salvation is by faith thru grace.

God and Christ loved you first. Rom.5:8-11; John 3:16;
Because we are born in sin we can not help [ it can make us bad if we let it ]. but if we try to do right, and love God and Christ because they do love us and have made every plan to save us, if we except it and do our best with it.
John 14:14,15,26,28; 16:23,26; Jesus says to Love God and neighbor Matt.22:37-40; there is no law where there is love Rom.13:8,9; Matt.6:9-13 Pray to the Father in Jesus name and the Holy Spirit is sent in Jesus name, Philip.2:5,9-12 take on the mind Christ has to do the will of God the Father and trust in his word John 8:32 and believers are sanctified by the word of God John 17:17; The search for truth and abiding by truth is what Jesus has encouraged and all the apostles after him and the prophets before him. The reward is great 1Cor.2:9; but John 3:16 is enough for the new heavens and the new earth we will enjoy 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5 as it was before Eden.
So much has been sacrificed to save mankind, the least we can do is the right thing toward a loving God, that could have destroyed the offsprings of Adam anytime, but has made every plan to save the offsprings of Adam.

1. Admit you are a sinner (Romans 3:10;23)
2. Realize God's Price on Sin (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:14)
3.Believe Christ Died for your sins and rose again to pay your sin debt (Romans 10:9,10)
4 Ask Christ to save you (Romans 10:13)
Salvation is NOT a lifelong process. Don't believe it! That is heresy! You can be saved NOW! Call upon Jesus now. Don't wait!!!

John 10:9
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.
Acts 2:21
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
Acts 4:10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 He is "'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.' 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

Realize that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23- For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death.
Romans 6:23- For the wages of sin is death.
God loved you so much that He gave His only begotten son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place.
Romans 5:8- But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Ask God to forgive you, and turn away from your sins.
Romans 10:9-10,13- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It's not about your actions. It's about your heart. Matt 7 tells of people who did all the religious things, but were cast into hell because "I did not know you" says Jesus.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me." - John
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. " - Romans
"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. " - Mark
It's not about just believing. It is mentioned also in the Bible that even the Devil believes in God, but what good does that do him? If you confess that Jesus is LORD, that means you give him reign over your life. You allow Him to come in and live through you. If He is the Son of God, and you say you believe in Him, then you must believe that what He says is true. He is THE way. He is THE truth.... Therefore, He must be followed.

There was a scholar of the law who stood up to test him and said, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
Jesus said to him, "What is written in the law? How do you read it?"
He said in reply, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."
He replied to him, "You have answered correctly; do this and you will live."
Luke 10: 25-28
Being saved is a lifelong journey that takes loving god and your neighbor every day of your life. Salvation is not something we get in an instant after believing or saying a prayer or making an emotional decision. Salvation is the result of a LIFE of loving God and neighbor.
