My parrot does this. He chews his toenails into razor sharp points that lacerate my arms.

I'm not that flexible yet! or maybe I am that flexible, I've just never thought about it before! You could get some major cramps though if you did it too long. I can not imagine having the desire to chew on my toenails!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! Never have I felt the urge. Is that kind of like men wishing that they were able to don't some of the same things that a dog can do? Ya know like clean themselves.

I thought this was the "dog" category. Is this a dog asking the question? My dog needs to go to the groomer for his nails, but I wish he would chew them, it would be a lot cheaper.

I love to but as I've gotten older I find I need to clip them first. The big advantage to this is I can nibble them anytime I wish.
