my family has one that allows the kids to open one presnet on Christmas Eve to get the edge off on all the stuff the next day, we've been doing it for years and it's the one thing that is looked forward to the most.
all that begging to open presnets early paid off, kids quit nagging as much and look forward to the next day more.
the thrill of the chase i guess. its like huntin dogs- one smell and they'll chase whatever they're after until they either tree it or kill it.

I buy PJ's they open on christmas eve, That way they always look good for pictures the next morning. I give them a pack of popcorn in their stocking, We go see christmas lights in the car each year, if we go to a town thing, we get a donut and hot cocoa.
We exchange $5 gifts. I have two sets of kids, I have an older group of four ages 24 to 16, and I adopted 4 more, ages 10 to 3, and we still do the same traditions. both sets have liked them.

We did a number of the same old issues, like each twelve months mom have been given each toddler a particular ornament, or enjoying video games Christmas Day afternoon, or we've been allowed to open one modern on Christmas Eve. however the only that all of us appeared forward to become the each year Tube conflict. With six toddlers interior the family individuals, and unquestionably all and sundry giving a modern to all and sundry else, we went by countless wrapping paper. some Christmas morning, jointly as we've been all ingesting our breakfasts and joking around, somebody grabbed between the leftover cardboard tubes piled next to the trash can and all started poking somebody else with it. That guy or woman grabbed one, and a duel all started. That brought about all and sundry taking on tubes and smacking one yet another. all of us bashed, prodded, and parried until each tube become in shreds and each guy or woman become panting from guffawing so puzzling (and making numerous easy saber sound effects). It become hilarious. So each Christmas, we've the each year combat, and the mayhem keeps to advance. As we toddlers get married, our spouses participate, and the canines too. We additionally shop all our wrapping tubes by the twelve months and positioned across them as back-up ammo; you on no account could have sufficient. human beings have belted extras around their waist or made quivers to hold them. i've got even considered a brother "observed off" a tube and cover it in his sock to whip out against unsuspecting victims. Yeah, we are somewhat "off," yet no one has greater relaxing. i think of i might wait some greater years earlier i all started this custom mutually with your toddlers, lol.

Christmas morning, our Breakfast was Cinnamon Rolls. While they were cooking, we looked at our stockings, then after we ate, we opened presents. Also, Christmas Eve was at the grandparents for our Christmas Eve Slovak dinner.
