just ell him. Race shouldnt be and issue in these times. If he doesnt like the guy for his race then say, daddy your a racists and i thought you were bigger and better than that. On the other hand if he doesnt lie him someother reason take it into consideration because your parents (especially dads or brothers) can see what we ladies cant (because wwe may be blinded by love.
Thats just my two cents...
peace and love- chai

If skin color didnt matter this wouldnt be an issue. Instead of making a big deal out of what color he is why not just tell your dad what a great guy your boyfriend is. In other words focus on the important things about him to your dad, not his color.

Your dad should want you to be loved so he is not going to initially like any guy that you bring to him, black, white, Asian, Puerto Rican, etc.. it does not matter. So let him know you found a man that has been treating you nice and you wanted him to know and then describe the guy to your dad. Good Luck!!!

Very quickly, at a distance, and make sure you are wearing a good pair of running shoes. Dad's are always a little overprotective of their little girls, but he will calm down and it will be ok.....just give him some time (also a door left open will give you a quicker exit) Good luck, hon!

Just get him to sit down in a VERY comfortable chair, and tell him straight out. Who knows, he might be happy for you. Good Luck.

Unless he is violent or terribly rude, set up a dinner date for you to introduce the two of them. No need to tell him about the race thing up front.
