thats a bit harsh to dump you. worse things have happened. Surely he can forgive you for that? Thats even if you still want him after his major overreaction. Methinks you need to write him an e-mail or letter about why you did it, what you think of how he reacted, its useful to throw in things that are worse and point out it was only something small and how you feel about him as a person.

You mean he dumped you without even hearing you out???? Girl, you need to move on. That was silly of him to break up with over a misunderstanding. It was an honest mistake, it could've happened to anyone. If he can't understand that, then you need to just move on...
