Well since Bruce Lee is a corpse I'd bet on you,but if he were still alive I'd put my money on him even if he were still alive he'd be in his 50's I'd still bet on him. I'd even take Jean Claude Van Damme over you,and he doesn't even know the martial arts. Steven Segal is a fat turd who can barely move, but I would pick him over you. My dad is 68 years old with two bad knees, and doesn't know the martial arts, and I would pick him over you. My wife is lazy, and complains alot, and I would pick her over you. Papa Smurf is only three apples high, and a cartoon caracter, and I would pick him over you. But I'm glad you're not conceded

Who are we kidding, if Bruce Lee can defeat death, he can defeat anyone! And to score any points you'd have to open his coffin and...

who were the other ten matches against? other dead guys?

185 is a bit heavy for someone who can only squat 230, is that one legged squats?

Body-weight exercises, they give you real strength. I recommend Matt Furey's books if you're into building strength for martial arts. Start with combat conditioning, and once you get bored of it go onto some of the heavier stuff.

I agree that bench press is pointless for kickboxing. Never engage in a rigorous sport the day after a hard bench press session, you'll screw up your shoulder. (conversely, if you ever have to fight a really big guy, try to get him to show off his strength on the free weights first.)

I'm not into gambling, but I bet the ref is crooked. But ten matches is kind of sparse for a black-belt. I think I had more than that before I even went yellow (and I'd definitely go yellow if I faced Bruce Lee)

If you had a fight with bruce lee and it went to the floor I'd definitely put my money on Bjj to win. martial arts has evolved so much since 1970's 80's. All these Bruce Lee lovers need to get outdoors stop buying his movies and watch Pride/ufc tournaments.
That's the real deal.
Bruce Lee is a legend but I cant see him taking any top level mma guy nowadays.

You must be joking. I don't really have to answer the question, but I wonder why alot of people who doubted Bruce Lee always bring up a size or strength issue. I don't know you, but just because your 185lb and bench 240 really doesn't have anything to do with speed and power. Bruce Lee was powerful and he fought and beat guys bigger than that and with much more martial arts experience. The guy was a freak of nature and he was a pure street fighter. Sorry, but I don't think you would last 10 seconds. He was just to fast and powerful.

Well you do have experiance and a decent record.... but your attitude STINKS!!

As a martial artist, you should have respects for people like Bruce Lee. ou seem like a dork comparing yourself to a guy that has been dead for a number of years now. Grow up!!!

/////////////////////// Extra Added

I do look up to Bruce Lee and I am NOT refering to his Movies. I am not dissing his films because they are good even today.

In real life Bruce was a very knowledgable person and was respected by many people, even fellow martial artists like "Judo" Gene LeBell, and even Frank Shamrock.

At the end of the day, Bruce lee is like 5ft 6" at 140lbs or something. You probably will beat him but it depends on the rules given. What you must remember is Bruce took on practically all styles in the world of Martial Arts where it was a time where people stuck to just one. It is even safe to say that Bruce took on board grappling/wrestling and legit submission holds to boot.

Bruce Lee shouldnt be disrespected because he made everyone interested in Martial Arts, just like Arnold Swartzeneger (sp?) did to BodyBuilding!!

IF what you say is true, you would certainly have the advantage.

Why the **** are you even asking such a question when you should know damn well that bruce lee never studied groundfighting and what he did 30 years ago IF he is as good as everyone says was good for 30 years ago. IF you are a bjj blackbelt you should know that.

Who awarded you your bjj bb?

Who awarded you your kickboxing bb?

what is your record? amateur? pro? under what rules?

Why are you doing powerlifting for your chest and doing toning for your legs?

You sound like you are just bull shitting everyone on here and it is blatantly obvious. If not then please explain yourself. I seriously doubt you are a bjj blackbelt.

A bjj blackbelt would cause bruce lee in his prime SERIOUS problems especially with a weight advantage.

Well, I'm an idiot and didn't know that Bruce Lee was dead, lmao!! After I read this, I turned around real fast and screamed to my teacher, "Bruce Lee is dead?!?!" I almost started crying, lol. But, if he was alive, I bet he could beat your butt. Not just because of his art, but for the fact that you seem to just think about beating people up and he never picked a fight. He always waited for someone to make the first move and then beat the crap out of them. =)

If Bruce Lee had a 'special power', it was the power to make arrogant people look silly.

So I think he'd jump inside your big mouth.

You could make quite an impressive job of beating your own big head to a pulp to try and get at Bruce, while he kicks your tonsils black and blue.

Bruce Lee your head is too big to be of any use so it would be a great target for him as he was less than 8 stone and fit as the butchers dog. Braun doesn't make you good, brains do!!

id think you would beat him all you would have to do is grab his leg when he kicks you then kick him in the balls, or pull his hair theres many ways of beating bruce start with something simple like making more movies than him or challenge him to a game of chess! or you could go 1 on 1 with him at b ball but if you fight him dont stand paralel to him because he will peform his one inch punch and you might fall into a chair if he does hit him with the chair and if u make him bleed he might taste it and get angry so when he tatses it pull his trousers down and push him over and shout bundle! id put my money on you man!
