Railroad derailment location. Lubek

"Location" being the key word in your question, I'm guessing Lubek is a siding.

There have been many references to cranes over the years, usually containing the builders name, or common slang terms, such as "the hook", refief outfit, Burro, "el gancho", etc., which leads me away from Lubek as a piece of equipment.

I'll see if I can dig up more info.....................

never heard of it..might have been on the original GN main west of Kalispell-Libby..lived there in NWMT but never heard of it
