17 or 18 is the earliest age. if 17, you have to have parental consent, but when 18, you are a legal adult and can make your own choices.

17 with the written permission of your parents or guardian. Education level has nothing to do with enlistment age. It does count in which field you wish to pursue in the military. However the ASVAB test will determine how qualified you are for any military job.

were I live the law is you must be 14 to work and 16 to have any dangerous or higher labor job. the same goes for the military if you really wanted to you could be an idiot and quit school and join the military at 16. however many position require higher ages and education.
