how do senstive people create happiness in relationships..if they take every movement personally - how can they or the other person be free in any way?

Are you with a senstive person? Do you have space for that? Does it work for you? What is the upside? What is the downside?

(I have played both parts!)

I've been called sensitive, because I tend to take things personally. I sometimes fear that it's more accurate to say that I'm self-centered - in truth, it's rarely about "me". It's just hard to remember that, sometimes. And I'm a Taurus, so don't give me that line about how I need a Taurus to "ground" me...

My boyfriend, too, is pretty sensitive. That makes things difficult sometimes because we both hear a 'tone' that isn't there when listening to our partner. I think the reason it works for us is that we are similar in nature AND both are pretty self-aware, so we recognize that trait in ourselves and make allowances for it. [He's a Cancer, for those who might be interested in the astrology aspect.]

well it depends on what you mean by sensitive. i am a sensitive person, but i express that by being romantic. someone who is over sensitive will usually be the one crying over spilt milk and that is too much for anyone to handle.

Well, I am sensitive but not jealous or overbearing there is a difference. I just like being treated kindly.

i am sensitive and ive learned not to take things so personal
i also keep in mind that things may not go my way and the situation would be the same not matter what changes i may have made.
keeping that in mind keeps me sane.

i don't see how being sensitive hinders your freedom in any way, or takes up space in your life. you either care about them enough not to hurt their feelings, or you don't.
