I think it would make me feel very distant from Him, and I don't want that.
So I strive to be the Christian He wants me and needs me to be.

And so you are.
You are saved by grace and justified by the shedding of His blood.

loved, suicide is perchance sin (errors) as our Father will possibly in no way kill Himself and hence neither might we (Genesis a million:26). This only potential the only appearing such an action is ineffective (lacks understanding, Genesis 5:3), and hence without the fact (Christ Jesus) is difficulty/slave to the various lies born interior a faux suggestions (human suggestions). As for the consequence of such an action: "ask your self no longer at this: for the hour is coming, interior the which all that are interior the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have completed stable, unto the resurrection of existence; and that they that have completed evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (John 5:28) each knee shall bow, what happens from there, Father is familiar with best ;-) desire this enables. Love - D

Good thoughts, listen God tests every one by giving two paths to lead our life, in one path you commit sin, you justify your bad deeds, you will enjoy this life but at the end God will never allow you to come near to him
Second one the path of righteousness, truth, doing good and being good, you will try to control your mind, thoughts, senses and try to focus on god .
I fyou choose the second path you are not only getting close to the god but you are becoming a living moral for others. The only thing that remains on this earth after we die is Name and fame, if you lead an Ideal spiritual life you will be remembered by the human kind forever.

No, sinning doesn't make you doubt that God lives. You have answered that question yourself by your statement. You know it is sin and you know it isn't right. It only makes you human and not divine like God is. It is great that you can see when you have sinned. The next step is to ask for forgiveness and try not to repeat it.

I think there are many many more mitigating factors as to why a person doubts the existence of God. For many people its very difficult to grasp something we can't see. Where as Science is physical and visible, a belief in God is based on unquestionable faith. Many of us need something more tangible than that to believe in something.

That's a very unsubtle way of smearing anybody who doesn't share your belief in God as sinner, I think you are playing dirty...shouldn't that be a sin by the way.

I don't call it sin. I prefer to call it mistakes we make that we learn from. It's all apart of growing.

Let me ask you...when you were a child and you knowingly did something bad, did you doubt that your parents lived?

No, if you sin, that doesn't mean that you doubt God. None of us are perfect; we all sin (knowingly or unknowingly). That's why we need Jesus to forgive us.
