I woke up in a very good mood. Now either my medication is wearing off or some of the people here have gotten to me. So, if that is the case, I am going to make it a point once again to say hello and have an angel touched day regardless of your religious belief or disbelief. Now for a question....does anyone think it is wrong to work in a bar if you are a Christian? Or is there anywhere you think a Christian should absolutely not go? If so, why?

Why, thank you!! Have yourself an angel touched day too!

Personally, I don't think it is a good idea to work in a bar if you are a Christian. Too many temptations...at least for me. Such as women, alcohol, tobacco, etc. Not, that I'm not a strong Christian and I couldn't resist these temptations. It's just that I wouldn't want to put myself in a situation where I might be tempted and might possibly give in. But, it depends on the person I suppose. For me, no, it's not a good idea to work in a bar.

I don't think a Christian should put themselves in any situation where they may be tempted to sin against God, whether at work or play or anywhere.

If you are girded by God, you can go anywhere you like and not be pulled into sin.

If you are easily swayed or tempted, it might be best to develop your faith before opening yourself up to that which you may have trouble resisting.

In other words, it is fine for a Christian to work in a bar if that Christian working in a bar doesn't become like many of the patrons--drunken, loose-tongued, searching for no-strings-attached sexual encounters, telling tall tales, avoiding family members at home, drinking up paychecks, and so forth.

On the flip side, it's a terrible idea for a Christian to work in a bar and develop some "holier than thou" attitude and comportment.

It takes specially fortified people to move easily and freely among people deliberately living outside of God's grace.

well i am not sure cause if you are true to being a christian you would not want to work in a bar because those people are putting poison in their body and y would u want to be around that but on the other hand people in the world lie cheat steal kill and we are surrounded around them everyday without us knowing or with us knowing. i guess what i am trying to say is that it is your call and how close you are to your god. if you listen to everyone they are going to say no cause christians don't do those kinds of things. hell it is a lot of things that christians do and not supposed to do.
