It may not "mean" anything, other than the semi-prescious stone, which is very pretty. Like naming someone Pearl, Emerald, or after a flower- after a feminine "pretty".

Jade is a precious gem from China, it can be anywhere from green to white, and it's very valuable. So I guess naming a child "Jade" implies that the parents think the child is as beautiful and/or valuable as jade stone.
