The term Friend with Benefits means a friend you can have sex with on the side. I don't think it works. Since I've been single I have a couple of guy friends who are really great, but I would never ever fool around with them, I think it would ruin the friendship. I had two friends in the past who told me they had feelings for me (I didn't feel the same) and it ruined the friendship. One person always ends up getting attached and gets hurt.

Okay friends with benefits is a bad idea. If you are going to be his friend be his friend. Don't use him for money, things, or attention. If you are thinking about having sex with him don't because he does not want more. Cut if off be his friend. There is no such thing as in between. Either you are his friend or you are more than his friend. More than likely your feelings could get hurt and you will lose a friend or vice a vera.

What are the benefits then? Are you just messing around? If so then i really don't understand the question. You enjoy being single and having a good friend. Be very open about what is going on and as long as ya'll are on the same page then you don't have anything to worry about, besides VD.

I thought that the 'benefits' out of 'friend with benefits' was having sex... as in sexual intercourse. I am presuming that you mean oral sex etc... Personally I don't like the idea of that but aslong as you two are both single then whatever, just make sure neither of you get hurt!
