I dont know about the HSBC complaints process but they should have some sort of procedure in place to listen to your case carefully and make an assessment. If you can provide enough evidence that you were on long term sick and had no income then they should at least listen to your case. I would firstly complain again to the HO and appeal their decision. However if you still feel dissatisfied or dont want to try them again, take your complaint to the FSA (fsa.gov.uk) and let them assist your case. Always a good idea is to talk to someone at your local Citizens Advice who can discuss your rights with you. Its a lot of mucking about but will be worth it for the money involved.

I have successfully claimed back over £150 in charges using the advice given on the website below. £150 is not a great deal compared with some of the success stories on the website. £30 is no longer a lawful about to pay for going overdrawn or returning a direct debit. Good luck, and don't give up, you will get a decent amount of your money back!

The banks are wise to these sites now and are refunding no more charges because of them. As long as they've provided you with a sheet that details charges (usually in a statement or something) then they can charge as much as they want. At the end of the day they don't charge you if you run your account properly

There's been a lot of this on TV recently, notably GMTV.

They had someone on who gave advice on what to do. GMTV has various various links, one which gives a standard letter (you just fill in the blanks).

Also the guy concerned has his own website (I think) offering all kinds of advice, which can be accessed through GMTV.

Try the link below, if it doesn't work, go to the main GMTV website.

stop going out completelt no entertainment, sell one of your cars if you have 2, apply for a consolodation loan and see if you can pay 3 months after you have all your loans payed, then get a job and do nothing until you have enough to pay your bills for one year, then you will be dept perfect.
