Go to the store and buy as many canned hams as you can. You really need hundreds of them. Contruct a cell for yourself using stacked canned hams as wall. I know it's slimy but it works better if you take them out of the tin. Hunker down in there and sing "you make me feel like a natural woman' about fifty times. This will repel the pineapples - they can't go through ham and they hate that stupid song as much as anyone. After a day or two they'll give up and leave. Thus you'll be safe from them and don't have to kill anything.

Bored huh? I think you need to kill the cherries and grapes then tour Del Monte but it is your choice not Sams choice.
