The Air Force uniform comes in Blue and the Army wears green how come they both are the same but in different colors and why can't the army waer Blue too?

The Army will be changing their uniform to blue soon. The Army will do away with the green class A uniform and change to what is now the "dress blue" uniform.

The Army is changing to dress blues like civil war uniforms of the past.
Air Force is changing to high neck collars like the marines

Some Army officers already wear dress blues. There is also a green officer uniform. Class A's are green.

to differentiat the different branches of military if every branch wore the exact same color then how would you know the difference in branches it's simple you wouldn't
