my bf is thinking of taking me to his military ball. problem is.....I DON'T DANCE WORTH A HOOT!!! what do i do? i think he knows that i don't dance, i move well, but i feel stupid when i dance. any tips?

girl get dressed and go do the 2 step side to side to the left to the right just move your arms up & wave it people will think you are the best dancer lol gl take a dance class

Well I think that you should make sure that he knows that you don't know how to dance first. Then tell him how you feel about dancing. Tell him that you would love to go with him but don't feel very comfortable when you are dancing. Maybe he knows a few moves he can teach you! Plus you have to remember that there are tons of people that feel the same way you do. No one cares what you look like when your dancing, people aren't out on the dance floor to look cool, they all just want to have fun. I am only comfortable dancing when I have had a few drinks!! Also, you can always dance really funny on purpose and just have fun with it and laugh, I have seen people do that and they have fun and so does everyone that is watching them. In the end it will all work out and you will have a great time.

This is great, your the first female that admits she doesn't dance that i heard of . I believed that you ladies were born to dance. Just go out and have a great time, tip some drinks back and get relaxed.

All you have to do is be yourself and enjoy the dance. Most people aren't professional dancers, but learn to enjoy moving to the music with the person they care about. Dancing is simply walking to the rhythm of the music. So relax and enjoy going out. He is not asking you to the ball for your exquisite dance technique, he is asking you because he enjoys your company.

Just be honest with him and let him know that you are uncomfortable dancing and maybe he will be able to help you get over that. Have fun.

do it n front of a mirror , there are lots of people who can't dance, just have fun , i have a couple of beers first, and damn i look hot and if i don't it's ok cause i think i look HOT~
