how can i make my boyfriend understand me? its like we're speaking a different language. he does listen to me, does hear me but then doesnt respond? am i missing some key to communicating here or what?

Well you're a girl, he's a guy. I'm afraid you are speaking a different language. Its hard for us guys to understand, but we try, we try. Think about how hard it is for you to understand why guys like to blow things up, play video games, go fast, etc. etc. Then you'll understand the way that he feels about you.

Unfortunately the longer that you are with a man, the longer they start to tune u out. That is just a fact in life. They love you, but they just are typically that way!!! So, to answer your question, You are not missing anything.. Thats the law of a male.

News flash.....Men and Women are different, period.. So, you can't make someone who is both biologicaly and psychologicaly different understand you. But, this boyfriend.....doesn't listen to you or respond. Are you sure he's your boyfriend?
Listening requires degree of caring and respect...evidently something he does not have for you. Hey, if he's this way now, it's not going to change.

Why don't you try writing him what you feel? Most of times, men are hearing, but not LISTENING. Next time you fight with him, go alone and write a letter explaining him all what you feel. If he cares about you, he will read, think and understand you.

yep - your missing vital information.....men dont listen unless your talking about what time football kicks off or your naked - they listen then cos they think they are gonna get something.
I did that once, I wanted to go out for dinner and had suggested it 3 times - with no response, so I stripped off right in front of him and said....."so.....do you fancy dinner - he went yeah, he said whats for pudding" I put my clothes back on and said chocolate desert and your paying. hehe - worked a treat

Write him a letter that expresses how you feel if you talk and it feels like you aren't getting anywhere. Sometimes we can write better than we can verbally express ourselves.
