a boyfriend who cares is one who will make his girlfriend's happiness his first priority. He will value her needs and opinions over anybody elses. With this as a motivation a man can not do wrong.
Patience, politeness and ability to listen are also rare and highly valued by most women. Men, usually the young ones, often lack these prized virtues.

He does little special things. Things that you know he went out of his way to do. Like having flowers delivered to your job or cooking dinner. Also, it can be as simple as just saying "Baby, I care about you (or love, im not sure)" or telling her she's beautiful when you see her.
Also, when youre actually concerned about the way her day is going. Dont just say "so how was your day" and then she tells you it sucked and you say "oh thats to bad", and start talking about football. When my boyfriend is actually concerned about me, thats when I know he cares.

A man who isn't just a lover but a friend. Pays attention to all the little things too. Isn't just there when he wants to be but whenever I need him. I mean, this list can go on and on.

i think that if he cared for her enough, that he would be there for everything, go shopping with her, do something she truely loves, even if he cant stand it..someone who isnt afraid to show how much they care by just holding her in public, giving flowers, just small stuff, it doesnt have to be extravagant..just thoughtfulness..
