I got some kielbasa in the freezer I need to eat up. Anyone got any good recipes, something my kids would like? Thanks in advance.

I treat the kielbasa like a hot dog. I cut it into circles and pan fry it until the circles are brown on both sides. I serve them with mac and cheese.

Got it! This one the kids can help with.
A can or 2 of biscuit dough, preheat the oven per instructions, slice the Kielbasa into slices along with some Chedder cheese and have the kids roll out the dough and put the basa and cheese inside and fold them up, bake till they're golden and let the kids decide what kind of dipping sauce they want, ketchup, honey, salad dressing or whatever, some chips on the side and watch them grin.

This is a great recipe for Kids, and easily adaptable for personal preferences...I've used this recipe with a bacon/egg/cheese filling, mexican with taco meat and shredded cheddar, the possibilities are endless...Hope you and your Neices have a good time cooking! Barbecue Beef Cups INGREDIENTS 3/4 pound lean ground beef 1/2 cup barbeque sauce 1 tablespoon dried minced onion 1 (12 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough 1/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease the cups of a muffin pan. In a large heavy skillet over medium heat, cook beef until evenly brown. Drain excess fat. Stir in barbeque sauce and dried onion. Simmer for a few minutes over low heat. Flatten each biscuit, and press into cups of the prepared muffin pan. Make sure the dough comes to the top of the pan. Spoon a portion of the meat mixture into each dough cup. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, and bake for 3 more minutes.

Couple months ago, my wife and I put some slice basa in a skillett with sliced up chicken breast and taco seasoning and I put it out on the grill. Oh Man!!! It was good. We ate it with a green salad and potatos. My kids loved it too.

Keilbasa has a real strong flavor so if they dont like it, they wont like it in any recipe.
