Seriously, I can't understand it, they could be models or at least get a great job or a successful husband. Why do they ruin their lives, knowing they will be seen on the web forever? Do they really make that much money?

For the same reasons as good looking men do them.
Reasons could be many. They may not think theres anything bad in what they are doing - at least when they begin. They may have had no economic choices. They may have been jilted once too many times. They may be the "rebel without a cause" types.... to each her own reason...
I dont think we need to worry too much about others' life choices unless it hurts us personally or we think it hurts someone else....
who are we to speculate ? :)

Good question! Speaking for myself, if I was that good looking, I'd probably be a stripper. But for the money only. Some women in that industry are led into pornos with drugs. Some girls are young and impressionable and are given ideas of being rich, famous and desired by thousands of men every where! Heck, I'd fall for it! Or maybe they have low self esteem, or are smart enough to know that men will pay and do anything for a hot, perhaps "easy" woman. It'd be interesting to read answers by women in the adult industry. Some of those women are darned smart and know that it's a good way to make money because men are a good target for seeing beautiful women in a sexy (and sadly also in a derogitory) manner. Why do you think prostitution is the world's oldest profession? Oh, and as for getting a good husband, ever hear the saying "Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free"?

Many of those women are mildly retarded, some hoping to break into modeling/acting careers. While others are paying for college, or childcare. The reasons are many. The funny thing a lot of men aren't turned off by a porn past. They will go as far as to marry the woman and beg her not to go back into that life style.

They're not all beautiful and they're not all real. Make up does wonders and no from what I've heard/read they don't really make all that much. I went on a Hollywood tour once and they pointed out where they film a lot of porn movies. Not very upscale. They have cheap sets and probably get cheap pay. Unless they make it really big and famous then they probably get into modeling and such.

They do it for the money. Maybe they can't get another well-paying job because they have no other skills. Remember, a lot of these girls are run-aways, victims of abuse, etc. , it is likely they have no education. They could be models, if there were a lot of jobs available in modeling, there aren't. So, where else do they go?

They make a ton of money and later on they do get acting jobs and some become pretty popular celebrities and they do get married and have families. You would be surprised of the celebrities that have had a turn at the porn world

The job market out can be very slim and many times they do make a lot of money. Second, most of them like sex. Third, most of them like having sex in front of other people. And, unless you becoem a major item, who is going to know you are in those movies. The ones who will complain about them the most will never acknowledge that they have watched it, so most of the time they are home free.

Its all about making as much money as possible in the shortest amount of time as possible and then leaving and living a comfortable life....who the hell remembers what that woman looks like once they are dressed again?

many of them actually like doing that, believe it or not
